On January 18 2008, Paramount Pictures, producer J.J. Abrams, and director Matt Reeves unleashed a little film called "Cloverfield" on an unsuspecting public. A "found footage" film about a group of friends dealing with a monster attack in New York, it quickly became a phenomenon. This is our take on what was happening to the rest of the city, as covered by news outlets and Emergency Action Notifications.
